Well this week has kind of been a blow off week since we had a four day weekend and all...I only had to go to school Wednesday Thursday and Friday... which... Friday I went to the zoo with CIS so it was like a five day weekend for me :] And that was exciting. We didn't get to see the WHOLE zoo because we left the school around 9:45, and had to be back by 2... which I thought was lame...but it's whatever, I wasn't complaining because I got to have another blow off day lol...
But that reminds me that I need to study for my Drivers Ed test thats tomorrow, (my exit test), and I need to study for my Romeo and Juliet test for sometime next week, and then I need to start on my project due for journalism on Tuesday....
So, I saw a new movie...Well I saw Iron Man in theatres and OMG that was the coolest movie since Transformers lol...and let me just say, Robert Downey Jr. was looking mighty fine lol. But besides that, I saw this movie called Wonderland, it's about John Holmes...I'm not going to say his profession, but if you know what I'm talking about then yeah... Great movie. I loved it. Although it was really rough... I've seen rough... Pulp Fiction, Running Scared, The Devil's Rejects, etc... but really if your parents trust you enough to watch the movie, then you should watch it lol.... My mom gave me this speech about "They make it look cool and fun in this movie, but I better not EVER catch you doing stuff like that ok??!!" I was like..." mom... please. I'm not stupid lol, I know it's a movie and it's all glammed up!" But yeah and the hottie in that movie had to of course be Val Kilmer... <3 oh I'm in love lol He looks all scruffy and dirty...but he pulls it off quite well.
Enough about bad boys. Sooooo, This morning for Mother's Day, I made my mommy breakfast in bed, (which by the way was delicious), according to her. And I just might mow the backyard :[ And if you've seen my backyard... it's about an acre's worth if not more, and we don't have a ride lawnmower... We got the push one. So I'd REALLY be doing my mom a favor lol
Well, I need to get to it... so I'll catch ya laterrrrrr...
Sincerely,

UGH. TAKS WEEK WAS SOOOO BORING...and fun in a way. :]
I didn't have that harsh of a time during that week! I mean come on, all we did was watch movies until the day of our test...which was Thursday. I think I did pretty good, I don't know about commended but I hope so... it seemed pretty easy to me. But usually when kids say that, they fail lol...but I really don't think I did.
On top of TAKS week, we have Monday and Tuesday off to our weekend!!! YAYYYYY. So I can catch up on some sleep you know?? WOOOHOOOO. yeah. That just happened. :]
I can't wait for summer though...I am going to Volleyball camp, Journalism camp, and maybe Church camp if my parents can still afford it lol. Cause it's not just me, my sister is goin' too. And on the last day of Volleyball camp my parents are going to check me and my sister out and we get to start our vacation early and go to a water park that day!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSS......... I'm like, really excited.
And next month I think I'm getting my truck! I'm really really REALLY excited about that.
well I need to go eat breakfast now.
Sincerely,

Hmmm. Saturday I woke up kind of early. My sister was at a softball tournament all day so it was just me and my dad and my dad's friend, I call him my uncle. So since it was just us three they let me drive everywhere we went that day lol, which was good cause I need the experience you know? Our instructor said that we should beg our parents to let us drive all the time cause they can tell whose been in a car just by their mannerisms...So I got to drive to Walmart and I almost had a wreck at Walmart! But it wasn't my fault, even my dad says so. He said it was good that I was being a defensive driver though or he would have hit us...so I was all freaked out. So what happened was, I was just starting to get out of the parking lot right? and I was stopped at a stop sign (duh) and this guy was like, chasing his wife down I guess and he was being crazy and he tried to turn in MY lane (which was impossible cause it was one way and I was the only on in my lane) and he stopped just as I was pulling out and then I stopped, and he was yelling at his wife!! How RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!! I was so mad. And boy, so was my dad lol. Anyways...then I drove us to lunch at this small Italian place in town and boy that was gooooood. I was so hungry. And nervous. My dad says I'm a good driver I just need to work on parking and stuff like that....
So tomorrow I get to schedule my first driving time with my instructor...I think my friend is going to try to be the observer with me lol...I want someone I know in the car so it's less embarrassing when I screw up...(if I do).
But yeah, and today I got to drive me and my sister and my stepmom to go tanning and that was good cause I had gotten some experience with my dad the days before so she wasn't all freaked out or anything and said I did a good job...So I'm happy...and not as worried about driving with the instructor anymore. Cause I was worried....
Well, I need to go read Great Expectations (yay...not.)
Sincerely,

Rolling Stone magazine right? And there was this cool article about Lil' Wayne a.k.a. Dwayne Micheal Carter Jr. (breathtaking) ahhh...And anyways, I found out a lot of interesting things about him. He is like, the number one selling rapper in his generation, and he makes about 500 songs a year, but most don't get produced, cause of reasons I will not mention. I'm not going to lie, I love me some Lil' Wayne...He's great. Yeah, but anyways, his favorite rock star is Kurt Cobain (was lead singer for Nirvana) and when he was growing up he dealt crack in New Orleans. (That's inappropriate, but interesting.)
Friday night I got my permit!!! Yay me right? I'm excited. So I drove me and my father to dinner that night, and then I drove home. And the weirdest thing happened...We watched the accident videos in Drivers Ed Friday right, and I was about to cry cause it was just sad, and when we came home that night there was a wreck down the street from my house like two houses down (literally) and it was a drunk guy with this 4 year old daughter that hit a house head on while on a four wheeler! I almost cried, that's horrible. The guy was care-flighted out, he was bleeding from both ears cause he hit head first on the house. Yeah he flew over his daughter and she was stopped by the handle bars, thank God. It was so scary, there was crime scene tape and everything around the house. So now I'm scared to drive now, but it's ok. But yeah...That's what happened Friday night.
Well I'm going to go listen to some Lil' Wayne.
Sincerely,

So, I'm watching "Spongebob Squarepants" which is my favorite show of all time (besides "Tom and Jerry") and they made a fire, underwater. Well, I think the kids of today are being misinformed, don't cha think?? lol
So earlier this week I had a sinus infection and it totally stunk because I didn't feel so hot. But I'm better now cause I took all the procedures lol. I took some allergy pills and some leftover prescriptions from the last sinus infection I had...I was three steps ahead :) And then I went to bed early last night and I feel as good as new. Yay me.
Hmmm, today some girls almost had a fight in the hallway. I thought it was dumb. What's the point in starting fights? Ok so anyways, they were being all loud and stuff going down the hallway (which is really annoying) and there was like twenty to one. How fair is that??? Anyways, that "one" was my friend, and I hated seeing her all sad...Kids today!!!
I'mmmmmmmmm starting drivers ed next monday!!! Big woop. It's going to take my social life away for three whole darn weeks. I'm not that excited. Although it's about time I get my permit. eh....
So I started research for my Romeo and Juliet project finally...well I did some yesterday but I didn't get so far since there is nothing on the internet about the Elizabethan Era!! It's impossible to find a little research on medieval masks! How ridiculous.
Oh man, you know who's hot?? DAVID BECKHAM!!!! woot woot. Sorry that was random but seriously, he is. OH BLESS ME. (I just sneezed)
Yes I always talk to myself in case you're wondering.
Ok time for Great Expectations!!!

So, I'm watching the "Bad Girls Club" right now on oxygen...great show. Makes you realize how two-faced people are....sometimes :)
Anywho, so my friend is coming in from New York today...I miss him. It's lonely without him at school lol. But yeah, I'll see him soon...
So I still haven't started my Romeo and Juliet project :/ woops. I know I know, I'm a huge procrastinator. I'm working on it...honestly. I get my homework done if it's due like, the next day and stuff but when given time like a week or so, I definitely need to work on my bad habits lol. Not to say it isn't normal, I just want to make things easier on myself in the long run instead of "for the moment".
I'm going to have to start that project really soon right? YEEEEPPP.
In the meanwhile, I'm enjoying what little free time I have (lol) by watching T.V.
Today I worked really hard though, in biology especially cause, I put together this awesome powerpoint...wow I sound like a nerd. But hey, it's ok; who doesn't love nerds? Anywho, I let my partners watch :) WOW conceited much? lol jk naw, I was havin' fun since we all worked together and I had their inputs.
Well I need to get goin' to fix my bad habit...

...was pretty cool I guess.
On Friday I went out to eat and my dad shared some oysters with me, which were pretty good. And then since me and my sister have season passes to Six Flags, we decided to go on Saturday and just have some bonding time I guess you could say lol. We laughed pretty much the whole day cause we have so many dumb inside jokes...and omg it was cold, it was like 67 degrees tops yesterday I'm not even kidding...but it was ok, we just stayed away from the main water rides lol. We met some people from a town next to ours, and we rode some rides together and had fun I guess, they were cool. And ugh, we rode the Titan last since the last time we went we rode it like 5 times in a row, but yeah we rode that last and the line was tremendously long. We waited like 2 hours in line, but hey, it's the Titan so it was worth it. And we rode Mr. Freeze like 6 times. I love that ride.
So there's this thing on T.V. about killing cancer and finding the cure, and a guess a guy from Kansas thinks he's got the cure. He said that radio waves can kill tumors and stuff...interesting. They tested it on rats and it seemed to work. That guy's going to be a millionaire! I just hope we all don't turn into zombies! (I Am Legend) But then in the past when people thought they found cures, they worked on the animals or in the petri dishes, but when tried on people it doesn't work. That sucks. But hey, it's all worth a try. Right?
So I'm almost halfway through Great Expectations and it's pretty good I guess. I'm used to the way Dickens writes now, so it's a lot easier to read I'll admit. I have to start my Romeo and Juliet project this week. I don't know if I told you already but I have to make a mask for a party back in the 1500's. This will be fun. Although I'm not the best at projects, I love tryin'.
Well my friend is in Varsity Choir and got to go to New York for the weekend. I'm a little jealous I'll admit but hey, he's my friend and I'm nice and listen to all his excited-ness lol. He sent me a picture of the Statue Of Liberty which I though was pretty amazing. I want one of times square though...that would be even more awesome.
Well I need to finish my homework (reading) so I'll get to it.
Sincerely,

Tanning. Yes I know what your thinking "Your going to get wrinkles, and die." I don't care. Life is short anyways...why not enjoy it?
Speaking of enjoying something, I'm really going to enjoy the project I have coming up in AP English! Yeeaaahhhh!! We are reading Romeo and Juliet [I love that story] and, we have to make masks. Like, Mardi Gras masks, but not. That's the catch; if it's Mardi Gras, it's a 50. SOOOO...I'm going to have fun. We have to do all of our own research but I'm ok with that...It's fine by me. We started reading Great Expectations and I am also loving that too. So I guess I just got lucky this six weeks righhhttt?? Yeah.
Moving on. Since we are on the subject of books and what not, I thought I'd tell you that I just finished a book that I was reading on the side called Cirque Du Freak [series] and at first I was like, "eh, that seems like it wouldn't be interesting" but EVERYONE was reading them. So I thought since I'm open minded enough, I'll try it. And it turns out...I liked it. It had a lot of hooks in it, I think that's what I liked so much you know? Anyways, it was about a boy named Darren Shan and his best friend wind up going to this freak show [which are illegal by the way] and his friend (Steven) is all into horror comics, and movies and stuff, and they meet a legendary vampire at the show. Long Story short, Darren becomes a vampire in order to save Steve's life (he got bit by a very dangerous spider), and Darren can't explain it enough times to Steve that he didn't want to, so they wind up not being friends cause Steve wanted to be a vampire but couldn't cause he was evil. And now I'm reading the second book, which started off pretty good I guess.
Well, I'd like to get started on that now.
Sincerely,

OH MY GOODNESS.
I'm going to have to go into overtime homework again!!! In English you know how we did the Tale of Two Cities book? Well now we have to do great expectations, which I bought yesterday, and it's soooo long. :( UGH.
Ok I know I sound like I'm making this out to be a drag, but I honestly am kind of excited about reading another novel...I love to read. I just don't like doing it with a paced effort. You know??? But yeah anyways, we had our break in between the books where we read, Miracle Worker the play version, but that was over much too soon. We watched a little bit of the middle and all of the ending of the movie version, and oh gah I cried. It was soooo emotional, when Anne tells Helen she loves her at the very end...It was amazing.
But yeah, yesterday my mom and I went to the bookstore and I bought a couple of books. I got Treasure Island , Great Expectations , Alice In Wonderland , The Historian , and Romeo And Juliet [play version]. I'm probably not going to have time to read much till summer comes...but I'm going to have to read To Kill A Mockingbird which I've already read like twice AND I have the movie. Soooo That shouldn't be too hard, just breezing right through that one. I can't wait to get started. I love reading. I told my boyfriend that we should try reading some books together and discussing them with each other you know? And I'm surprised he actually read a book for me! 'Cause at first he just kind of made it sound like I was crazy or something...but he read one, and it's GREAT! I'm so happy we finally had our first "Intellectual conversation" [over a book], but still...it's an accomplishment to me. I feel like he's learning something. Books are wonderful. I love them.
So I think I need to get started on Great Expectations now.
Sincerely,

So over my spring break I went to Six Flags with my boyfriend on Monday. Monday was the only day he was free to do something, and I figured "Hey, why not go to Six Flags??" So yeah, Monday was a good day, even though they told us it was supposed to rain like extremely hard and hail and all this mess...but it didn't :) Just like I figured it wouldn't.
All of the lines were practically empty, therefore we got to ride everything more than once without waiting five hours in line! And my sister went too with her friends, so I had to ride this one ride with my sister at least once, and it wound up being like five times that we ran and got back in line! We were laughing so hard we drooled (literally) all over our cheeks everytime we went down a big hill! Oh my goodness it was hilarious. I loved it. Me and my sister can laugh at ANYTHING!
So I have a season pass, and I had to go get my picture made for my card and stuff right? Well, I didn't want a serious picture so I asked my boyfriend for his glasses and I made my hair messy (or tried) and I stuck my tongue out at the last second, and the lady taking my picture laughed at me lol. I thought the picture was cute though. But we needed the little coupon book so we could eat for less lol. We were really hungry...
After we were done with Six Flags, we went to Taco Bell and ate ALOT!!! And then we watched The Lion King till his dad picked him up. It was a fun day I got to admit.
Well I'm going to finish my drawing of "Kat Von D" [watch "LA Ink" on TLC] it's a great show.
Anyways, sincerely,
