The Heat of the Summer Sunshine

For the past week I have been studying my head off for finals. Thankfully they ended today and now I can focus on something non-academic.......summer!!!

Today marks the first official day of summer vacation for my school. I am going to a friend's house to swim and later tonight we are going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End. That's not all I am doing to kickoff the summer. Tomorrow morning, at 5:30, I am leaving for Universal Studios, in Orlando, with my mom and two of our friends. We will spend the week relaxing by the pool and having a blast on the rides in the park. Once we get back from Universal my summer will be busy, busy, busy.

My plans for the summer include: summer camp, soccer camp, film class, a creative writing workshop, Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership, hanging out with my friends on the river, swimming, sailing, and of doing lots of tubing. And let's not forget..... SOPHOMORE SUMMER READING!!!!!!!
