OH MY GOODNESS.
I'm going to have to go into overtime homework again!!! In English you know how we did the Tale of Two Cities book? Well now we have to do great expectations, which I bought yesterday, and it's soooo long. :( UGH.
Ok I know I sound like I'm making this out to be a drag, but I honestly am kind of excited about reading another novel...I love to read. I just don't like doing it with a paced effort. You know??? But yeah anyways, we had our break in between the books where we read, Miracle Worker the play version, but that was over much too soon. We watched a little bit of the middle and all of the ending of the movie version, and oh gah I cried. It was soooo emotional, when Anne tells Helen she loves her at the very end...It was amazing.
But yeah, yesterday my mom and I went to the bookstore and I bought a couple of books. I got Treasure Island , Great Expectations , Alice In Wonderland , The Historian , and Romeo And Juliet [play version]. I'm probably not going to have time to read much till summer comes...but I'm going to have to read To Kill A Mockingbird which I've already read like twice AND I have the movie. Soooo That shouldn't be too hard, just breezing right through that one. I can't wait to get started. I love reading. I told my boyfriend that we should try reading some books together and discussing them with each other you know? And I'm surprised he actually read a book for me! 'Cause at first he just kind of made it sound like I was crazy or something...but he read one, and it's GREAT! I'm so happy we finally had our first "Intellectual conversation" [over a book], but still...it's an accomplishment to me. I feel like he's learning something. Books are wonderful. I love them.
So I think I need to get started on Great Expectations now.
Sincerely,

So over my spring break I went to Six Flags with my boyfriend on Monday. Monday was the only day he was free to do something, and I figured "Hey, why not go to Six Flags??" So yeah, Monday was a good day, even though they told us it was supposed to rain like extremely hard and hail and all this mess...but it didn't :) Just like I figured it wouldn't.
All of the lines were practically empty, therefore we got to ride everything more than once without waiting five hours in line! And my sister went too with her friends, so I had to ride this one ride with my sister at least once, and it wound up being like five times that we ran and got back in line! We were laughing so hard we drooled (literally) all over our cheeks everytime we went down a big hill! Oh my goodness it was hilarious. I loved it. Me and my sister can laugh at ANYTHING!
So I have a season pass, and I had to go get my picture made for my card and stuff right? Well, I didn't want a serious picture so I asked my boyfriend for his glasses and I made my hair messy (or tried) and I stuck my tongue out at the last second, and the lady taking my picture laughed at me lol. I thought the picture was cute though. But we needed the little coupon book so we could eat for less lol. We were really hungry...
After we were done with Six Flags, we went to Taco Bell and ate ALOT!!! And then we watched The Lion King till his dad picked him up. It was a fun day I got to admit.
Well I'm going to finish my drawing of "Kat Von D" [watch "LA Ink" on TLC] it's a great show.
Anyways, sincerely,

Well, I started off my spring break with a little babysitting! I know what you're thinking, "why is that exciting?" Because I get to babysit the coolest kids in the world, my cousins. They are pretty amazing kids, ages of 1 1/2, 3, and 6. They are pretty perceptive for their ages believe it or not. They can converse like adults! Well the 6 year old can at least lol. He's a cutie. Yes, so I'm getting paid like $75 so I'm also excited about that :). Me and My boyfriend are going to Six Flags on Monday since I got a season pass and a free ticket and all. I'm really excited about that cause he'll be leaving to go see his family out of town, and Monday is the only day we'll get to see each other :( but it's ok.
So, I'm watching "X-Men" right now. I really don't like that show, much less the movie. But that's what my cousins picked out.
My friend's cousin died yesterday- he was extremely sad about it. He wasn't even born yet. And I know how much his aunt and uncle wanted to have a baby :( Awwww...it's so sad. I almost cried for them.
I'm so blessed not to have anyone really close to me die. I hope it stays like that for a long time.
On a better note, I ordered pizza earlier! Yeah it was good. Ok this x-men movie is kind of vulgar for the kids so I think I'm going to go and take it out lol I'd rather watch "The Jungle Book" instead.
Later Days,

So I have a new favorite song by Imogen Heap, it's "Hide and Seek". Oh my goodness if you haven't heard this song already, you need to get it. It's such a pretty song, and the harmonizing is amaaaazing. Like, honestly. My favorite line is "Speak no feeling, no I don't believe you." simply because it's worded perfectly. I can relate to that line alot. Sometimes, people or things have no feelings you know? Like, sometimes it seems unreal... I don't know, it's kind of hard to explain...
Another one of my favorite lines from this song is "Spend me 'round again, and rub my eyes, this can't be happening." It reminds me of a happy time in my life, like jumping on the trampoline, eating an ice cream in the summer. The parallelism in this song is different, and I think it makes it cool. And the best part is, there is no instruments involved, besides the synthesizer for her voice. She sounds really cool.
I think the song is talking about living in a material world you know? Well, if you've never heard it, or not analyzed it, then you wouldn't understand I guess. It talks about busy streets and masses of people getting to someplace, and sewing machines and trains are mentioned, I think that symbolizes work but who knows? It's just a really great song. Check it out. For real.
Well, did you know that people who don't get at least 30 minutes of some kind of aerobic activity, or cardiac activity, are most likely to be more depressed or stressed than those who do. I thought that was an interesting fact, well I love reading about the body, and mine, I just find it interesting. One time I started reading my mom's Anatomy of the Human Body just to past some time. How weird? But it's not like I'm interested in being a doctor or surgeon or anything like that...I love how people have figured out a way to take apart every part of a human being and identify it's functions and how the hormones and blood runs.
The brain is most interesting, though, cause it does so many things... Like it's amazing to see how different people think, for example, the democrats and republicans. Then that also depends on how you were raised, I think. Just the other day, I was looking at everyone in the hallway, and I noticed how different, yet how similar everyone's style was. Anything from clothing to what's acceptable, is just amazing just how things are different in other people's minds depending on what tweaks they have, or how they perceive things. And to think, the brain runs all of that. The capacity of the brain is much bigger than most people think, it can hold endless information, and never run out of room. You have emotions, opinions, the history, songs, memories...It's impeccable to think that I own something that can hold much more than I give it credit for sometimes...I love it. Some say we have a place in our minds that we haven't unlocked yet, for time travel, and portholes, and paradox's, and to know just what God looks like. Dust has only just begun to fall, on this world...
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only somebody out there that thinks deeply about things that are oblong topics.
Maybe you should sometimes, It really makes a difference sometimes.
Sincerely,

So I just got back from the salon, and I got my nails filled...so I'm excited of course. Today's been a really slow day, I guess you can say, I really haven't done much today. I watched some T.V. and ate alot, as usual. My sister got her hair cut and oh my gosh, they totally cut way too much off! Her hair was long and luscious, and now it's short and cute. I don't think it looks bad, I just loved her long hair. I'm trying to grow mine out and it's been a really slow process, cause at first I was thinking about getting short bangs like I've always had, but I love how long my bangs are and how full they make my hair look, so I decided to keep them.
So the TAKS test wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, thank God! It was kind of a breeze. I finished quick but not too quick. And I took my time and thought about what I wrote on my short answer questions cause I knew they were a huge part of my grade...And I knew that if my AP teacher was standing next to me, she'd probably beat me over the head with a stick if I got them wrong lol...so I did my best. Then after the test, like a good girl, I started my homework for the last week of A Tale of Two Cities so I wouldn't have very much homework towards the end of the week. And tomorrow I had forgot but I have a doctors appointment scheduled and I am missing that class so I need to have all of my homework done.
I need to go tanning. I'm so white. I know that has nothing to do with this, but I was just thinking about how white I am and I don't like it lol. OOOOHHHH well. My daddy says that beauty is only skin deep anyways, but it's nice to feel good about your physical appearance too...but I don't support how girls abuse their bodies because of someone else's opinion. Girls weren't born knowing how to hate their bodies, and it seems like it's the world's job to teach them. It's not right how they photoshop everything in the magazines, giving girls the "perfect image" of what they SHOULD look like. yeah right. No one can get up every morning and airbrush their makeup, or spend an hour in the gym everyday...eh. It's unethical. But that's the troubles of life, well one of the troubles at least.
That's my special rant for today.
Adieu (bye)
Sincerely,

*Ahem*
Well hello there neighbors :) I have the "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood" theme song stuck in my head lol. So, won't you be my neighbor, today?
It's been a good week so far I guess, I forgot to inform you all that I was sick all last week with strep throat, and I missed some of Tuesday and all of Wednesday...It wasn't pleasant. I cried one night cause I couldn't get to sleep cause it hurt so bad to swallow :( I went to the doctor and she said I had a whole bunch of fluids backed up behind my ears and it could get worse if I didn't take medicine soon, so of course she prescribed me some antibiotics. I feel a whole lot better now! I love medicine.
Ugh. Tomorrow we have TAKS testing! Bah!! I really am NOT looking forward to that...although I must say I have much confidence that I'll pass, I just don't feel like sitting in one room with the same people for a whole day. It's our English/ Language whatever you want to call it test. The part I like is that I get to have quiet time and read when I'm finished :) I love reading. I think I'm going to bring A Tale of Two Cities and Pretties. I've already read Pretties like a long time ago, I just love the book. It's intense. So, I smell really good right now, sorry that was random but seriously I love my bath soap lol. Ok anyways...
Moving on, my boyfriend gets to go to New York for choir. :( He's so lucky. I wish I could go. I've always wanted to visit New York...It's the center of the universe pretty much, and I'm not going to lie, I like being the center of attention :) I'm jealous of him kind of...But he deserves it, he's been working his captain-quarters off for it.
So I went to see that movie "Juno" and oh my gosh...that was the most amazing movie I've ever seen! It's so cute...although she wasn't very bright with getting pregnant and all, it was just...so cavalier. I don't know why but I just loved the movie. And her parents cracked me up the whole time lol, her dad sounded like mine!!
I have to go make my lunch for tomorrow so I won't have to eat yucky cafeteria food lol so I'll catch up with you later this week.
Sincerely,
livelaughlove11
