The Gig

Yesterday's gig went pretty well. All of the practice that I've been doing is paying off big time. I just wish that the crowd had been a little more cooperative. The trend throughout the night was that there would either be a million people on the dance floor or no one. I didn't change up the music or anything to make them all go away so I'm pretty sure it wasn't my fault, but regardless it was weird. That being said, whenever they did decide to dance I could tell they were having an insane time. My friend from Annapolis also had a good time which was the most important thing in my opinion so all in all it was a good night.

In other news, I landed a philanthropy event set for this Saturday and it's for a big sorority so I should get a lot of exposure which is always a good thing. The event is a fundraiser for St. Jude's Research Hospital and there should be a pretty good turnout.

I'm doing it for free because I'm a sucker for a good cause :-)
