The Grind

Another thing that I've noticed about college is that all of the days seem to run together making time go by a lot faster than it should. I think a lot of it has to do with the odd hours of waking up and going to bed, coupled with the fact that there are a lot of times when you're doing nothing. During these times of time-wasting, time has a tendency to shoot forward really fast, until next thing you know, it's midnight and the day is over. Also, if you don't pay attention, the end of the week will always sneak up on you. And while of course it is always nice when it's the weekend, it's not so nice when you also have a test or a paper coming up.

I know that I always talk about the impending paper/test, but it's crazy how it's always on your mind. There are never any real periods of solace in college. Whenever I go out or I'm not studying, I always feel like I should be studying. However I've learned that that's just the way things are and unless I want to study 24/7, I'll just have to deal with it. I've done a pretty good job keeping up with my schedule so I think I'll be fine.

P.S. On a lighter note, my friend from Annapolis is coming on Saturday! I got a gig at a frat that day too so he'll get to come and watch me in action. I'm excited :-)
