Familiar Faces in Strange Places

I went to a small high school so it was a shock to go to a huge university. However, the transition has been a fairly easy one! Everyday I see someone that I know. Some are people from my high school, some are people I had met a various summer programs and some are new friends. It really helps to make school feel like home. Also, I see the people from my classes randomly around campus (at the post office, in the grocery store, etc.), which is pretty cool. Speaking of going to the store, yesterday I was getting in my car to go to the store so I put my keep in and nothing happened. My battery had died! Thankfully my school has a program that you can call no matter where you are and no matter what time of day or night and they will come and help you with your car problems. So I called them and I got my car jumped off and then headed to the local dealer to check it out to make sure it was all right. Everyone was so nice with the whole process! I am so thankful that everything worked out because it could have been a traumatic experience. My car is perfectly fine and I am good to go!
