I am FINALLY on Spring Break! I am visiting relatives this week and I am looking forward to just relaxing. That might be a little difficult, however, considering that I have a book to read and a test to study for...but it shouldn't be that bad. Hopefully I'll be able to get some time in to go to the beach with friends too! I love this time of year!

I am SO sorry that I have been so lax in my posting these past few weeks. My life seems to just keep getting more complicated and busy...but I'm loving it! As I mentioned earlier, I ran for a seat on my student government association's senate...and I won!!! I am SO excited about getting involved with all the other senators as well as the executive positions within the SGA. I'm a dork but I love stuff like that. Last week I went to our state's capitol along with a delegation from my school as well as all of the other schools across the state to meet with legislators in order to hopefully secure more money for the funding of higher education in the state. It was a really neat experience and allowed us to get a feel about how the legislative process works in relation to the budget of the state and how it is doled out.
Also, I applied for a very prestigious program at my university that deals with current issues and concerns facing our state today and I just got an interview! Yay! It is at the end of the week so I will let you all know how it goes! Wish me luck!

I hate economics. Period. I think it is an extremely difficult subject and class and I do not know why I am required to take it. At first, I didn't think it was going to be that bad. I liked my teacher and the course seemed a little hard but I didn't think it would be something that I couldn't handle. Oh, but I was wrong. I did HORRIBLY on the first two tests. I went to my professor the other day and had a chat about the class and my grade and such and he recommended dropping it...I really don't want to but we'll see...
